Take it from us...the month of February is important. You've got Valentine's Day, and maybe you've got some important birthdays going on in February as well.
But, it seems like most people forget another important event in February that goes on all month long...Black History Month. Black History month isn't just another simple holiday...it's a monumental, reflective, historical one too. Many people join in with others around the world to celebrate those who've earned their names in black history...and don't worry...we do too!
So, all of Oak City Baptist Church would like to invite you to our Black History Month. Black History will take place on all four Sundays of the month of February, so why don't you stop by and look us over?
We've got lots of things for you to join into...so don't miss out. We won't spoil the surprises you'll see from us every Sunday in February, but if you've noticed...we've given you one hint already!
In honor of Black History, we've invited YOU to the OCBC Community Bowl Dinner on February 12, 2016. If you'd like to attend, click the link to the interest form or scroll down this blog page to find the same form.
We hope to find you at this dinner, all throughout Black History month, and at many more of our church services to come!
