Adoption and Foster Care Observance Service @ OCBC

On February 8, 2015, at Oak City Baptist Church, the Adoption and Foster Care Ministry held a service in its honor for its service to the adoption and foster care community. This service took place on the 2nd Sunday of OCBC's Black History Month in February.

During this service, Wake County Human Service Representative, Nikki Lyons, came to Oak City on behalf of Wake County Human Service.

The Youth Choir led the service in the wonderful singing of old spirituals in observance of Black History Month.

Finally, our very own, Rev. Dr. William T. Newkirk led the service with his own sermon titled, "God Chose Us!" If you missed his sermon...and even the entire service...you missed another of our treats!
